Gurupaurnima special

Gurupaurnima is one of the best festival celebrated in India on 13th July.Based on Karma Yoga, the custom of Guru Purnima honours all of the intellectual and spiritual Gurus who are enlightened or evolved beings who are willing to impart their knowledge. Hindus, Jains, and Buddhists all commemorate it as a holiday in India, Nepal, and Bhutan.

Traditionally the festival is celebrated by Buddhists in honor of the Buddha who gave his first sermon on this day at Sarnath, Uttar Pradesh, India. In the yogic tradition, the day is celebrated as the occasion when Shiva became the first Guru, as he began the transmission of Yoga to the Saptarishis.

Who are gurus?

Our guru is somebody from whom we learn something; a guru is a teacher, someone whose advice we take. The true Guru is the one who helps us overcome our flaws and inadequacies and leads us from darkness to light.

What significance does a Guru's grace have?

By removing all barriers, the Guru's grace enables one to progress all the way to their objective. We must follow Guru's directions with the utmost seriousness and preserve our Guru's respect in order to receive Guru's grace.

theThe lives of great individuals who attained the pinnacles of success with the help of their guru are recorded throughout history. Swami Vivekananda, Ramakrishna Paramhansa, Arjun, and Dronacharya are a few well-known examples.
